About Daisychain Jewellers
Who are Daisychain Jewellers?
Daisychain Jewellers is a family-run, independent jewellery shop and bespoke jewellers with an in-house workshop and showroom, established in 2000, located in Boxmoor, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. We specialise in jewellery repairs, bespoke design, engagement and wedding rings.

When were you established?
Daisychain Jewellers was established by Marc and Pamela in 2000 as a workshop to the trade and then opened up the Daisychain retail shop nearly 20 years ago.
Are you a family-run business?
Yes, we are an independent, family-run jewellers. You'll always receive a personal, friendly service when you visit us.
Do you have an in-house workshop?
Yes. We have a fully equipped in-house workshop and showroom on-site, meaning most work is carried out by our own team right here in the shop.

What services do you offer?
We offer a wide range of jewellery services including re-styling existing jewellery, bespoke engagement rings, wedding rings, eternity rings, scrap gold and silver buying, and jewellery repairs and alterations.
Can you work on existing jewellery?
Yes. Re-styling and remodelling existing pieces is our most popular service. We can transform jewellery you no longer wear into something personal and timeless.
Can you create completely bespoke jewellery?
Yes. We offer a full bespoke design service for rings and other jewellery pieces, working closely with you throughout the design process.
Do I need an appointment to visit?
No appointments are required — you're welcome to pop in during our opening hours and we'll be happy to help.

Can you design a bespoke engagement ring?
Yes. We offer a full bespoke design service for natural diamond, sapphire, ruby, emerald and many more precious stones to be used in the making of your engagement ring.
Do you offer lab-grown diamonds?
Yes. Lab-grown diamond engagement rings are available and are a popular choice, offering exceptional value and allowing you to maximise your budget. We can source these for you.
What are lab-grown diamonds?
Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds — chemically, physically, and optically identical to natural diamonds mined from the earth. They are created in a controlled laboratory environment using advanced technology that replicates the same heat and pressure conditions that form diamonds naturally. The result is a genuine diamond, allowing you much more for your budget.
Can I keep the proposal a surprise?
Absolutely. We offer a discreet service for those planning a surprise proposal, so you can design the perfect ring without your partner knowing.
Wedding Rings
Can you make a wedding ring to match my engagement ring?
Yes. We can create bespoke wedding rings and sets made to fit seamlessly alongside your existing engagement ring, ensuring the perfect match.
Do you have wedding rings for men?
Yes. We have a wide range of sample wedding bands to try on in-store before crafting the final piece in precious metal, so you can be confident in the fit and style.
Will you clean my engagement ring before the wedding?
Yes. As a finishing touch, we'll clean and polish your engagement ring just before your wedding day so everything looks flawless and sparkling.
Eternity Rings
What is an eternity ring?
An eternity ring is a ring set with a continuous line of gemstones, traditionally given to mark a milestone or any special occasion in your life.
When is a good time to buy an eternity ring?
Any meaningful moment — a first anniversary, a tenth anniversary, the birth of a child, or simply because it feels right. We'll help you choose or create a ring that feels meaningful and made for you.
Re-Styling & Remodelling Existing Jewellery
Can you transform old or unwanted jewellery into something new?
Yes. Re-styling existing jewellery is our most popular service. We'll work closely with you to redesign a piece you no longer wear into something fresh, modern, and truly personal.
Will leftover material help reduce the cost?
Yes. In many cases, leftover materials from your existing jewellery can be used to offset the cost of a re-styling project — sometimes covering it entirely.
Can you add new stones or metal to an existing piece?
Yes. We can source new stones or metal where needed as part of a re-styling or remodelling project.
Jewellery Repairs & Alterations
What jewellery repairs do you offer?
We offer a wide range of in-house jewellery repairs and jewellery restoration, including ring sizing, claw work, diamond and stone replacement, rebuilds and new shanks, cleaning and polishing, rhodium plating and chain repairs.
Is my jewellery insured while in your care?
Yes. Our in-house workshop is fully insured, so your jewellery is in safe hands while we work on it.
Can you resize a ring?
Yes. Ring sizing up or down is carried out here in our in-house workshop.
Do you offer pearl and bead restringing?
Yes. We can arrange pearl and bead restringing, though this particular service is completed by a specialist off-site rather than in our workshop.
Scrap Gold & Silver Buying
Do you buy scrap gold and silver?
Yes. We buy unwanted jewellery and precious metal items, paying top prices for gold, platinum, and silver.
What items do you buy?
We buy gold, platinum, and silver jewellery and other precious metal items. If you're unsure whether we'd be interested, feel free to pop in and ask.
Is the quote obligation-free?
Yes. We offer no-obligation quotes, so you're welcome to come in and see what your items are worth without any commitment to sell.

Yes. Please bring a valid ID.
Visiting the Shop
What are your opening hours?
We are open Tuesday to Saturday, 9:30am – 5pm. We are closed on Monday and Sunday.
